Andrew Garza

Andrew Garza was named the second Esports coach in Midway history in April 2025 and will begin his tenure with the Eagles this fall.

He comes to Midway after serving as Esports Coordinator at Central Maine Community College. Prior to that, he was the head coach for Call of Duty at Cumberland University (Tenn.), where he led his team to a national championship and multiple top-six finishes in national tournaments. His efforts earned him a nomination for NACE COD Coach of the Year in 2024.

As a player, Garza competed at a high level in numerous national events and served as lead caster and statistician for the American Gaming Network. He also earned a national championship in the 2022 COD Academy National Championship.

He inherits and Eagle program that has won three division championships and qualified for three national tournaments over the previous two seasons.
