TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Jacob Kocis of the Midway men's cross country team completed his memorable season on Friday morning when he ran in the NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. at Apalachee Regional Park.

The sophomore from Island Pond, Vermont completed the 8K course in 25:24.2 to finish in 85th place out of 318 total runners.

Friday's race marked the end of a memorable 2022 campaign for Kocis. He was named the RSC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference honors, while he was named the RSC Runner of the Week four times throughout the season.
