VERSAILLES, Ky. - Midway got a win from Brad Blanchard in the 100-yard backstroke, but ultimately fell 163-50 in a dual with West Virginia Tech Saturday afternoon.
Blanchard finished the race in 1:06.71. The Eagles had the top-two finishes in the event, with Jeremiah Hervey taking the runner-up spot in 1:26.68.
Elsewhere, Challen Waychoff took second in the 200 back in 2:19.76, while Waychoff, Blanchard, Hervey and Jack Logan were second in 3:57.33 in the 400 freestyle relay.
The Eagles will be back on the road next Friday, staying in-state to face Campbellsville at 5:30 p.m.
