WILMORE, Ky. - Daniel Maia earned a win in the 100-yard breaststroke for the Midway men's swim team, which concluded the regular season with a pair of duals against Asbury (Ky.) and Anderson (Ind.) Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles fell 101-75 to Asbury and 112-72 to Anderson.
Maia claimed Midway's lone win in the 100 back, touching the wall in 59.71 seconds. He came in .75 seconds ahead of runner-up Ethan Scialabba of Anderson.
The Eagles got a pair of second-place finishes as well.
Jack Logan was runner-up in the 1,000 freestyle (11:23.28), with
Brad Blanchard taking the second spot in the 100 butterfly (57.30).
Midway now has a two-week break before heading to Danville, Ky. for the Mid-South Championships, which will be held on Feb. 6-8.
