Dylan Brown is entering his seventh year as Sports Information Director at Midway University in 2022-23.
Hired as the University’s first-ever full-time Sports Information Director in August 2016, Brown overseas all media relations for Midway’s 28 sports.
Brown has made an impact as he was named the River States Conference Sports Information Director of the Year in back-to-back years first in 2017-18 and then again in 2018-19.
Brown has helped bring live coverage to Midway including the integration of live stats at all home contests, while he introduced live video streaming through Stretch Internet in August 2017.
He has covered Midway’s National Tournament runs in baseball (2017), women’s golf (2017, 2018, 2019) and softball (2018). During his tenure, Brown has covered Midway’s conference championships in baseball (2017) and women’s golf (2017, 2018, 2019).
Brown has not only been an integral part of the Midway Athletic Department but also within the River States Conference. He has worked numerous championship events, while bringing live scoring to both RSC men’s and women’s golf championships.
Brown got his start in Sports Information at St. Catharine College where he served as Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director for nearly two years from September 2014 to June 2016.
During his tenure with the Patriots, Brown served as the media contact for the school’s 21 varsity sports. He managed the press box and scorer’s table at home events and oversaw the gameday staff.
Brown also graduated from St. Catharine College in May 2016 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration from Midway University in May 2019.
