Errors were the difference as Midway carded more kills than the home team, but the Cougars committed over 20 fewer errors to cruise to the 3-0 sweep (25-21, 25-13, 25-16).
Following the loss, Jonea Rima's club sees their 10-match win streak snapped as they drop to 19-3 overall and 12-3 in River States Conference play. The loss ensures Midway will finish second in the RSC West Division.
IU Kokomo, meanwhile, improves to 23-8 overall and 15-1 in league play as they've now won 12 consecutive matches. The win also locks up the regular season title for the Cougars as they'll host the RSC Tournament which is set to be contested on Nov. 12-13.
The Eagles found themselves in a great position to win the opening set as they held a 20-17 edge, but the Cougars rattled off an 8-1 run to finish the set and turn the tide on the visitors.
