DANVILLE, Ky. - Midway's men's swimming team returned to the pool for a triangle match on Tuesday, where it was defeated 157-46 by host Centre and 133-66 by Campbellsville.
After winning and setting a program record in the 50-yard freestyle in his first college meet,
Caique Nunes Maia set two more records with another win Tuesday.
Maia won the 100 free in 47.64 seconds while also taking second in the 200 in 1:47.68, both of which are the best event times in school history.
Other top-five finishes came from
Jalen Wright, who was fourth in 23.14 in the 50 free, and
Daniel Maia, who placed fifth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.26.
The Eagles are back on the road Saturday, where they'll face Indiana Wesleyan at 1 p.m.
