PULASKI, Tenn. - Midway concluded a 2-0 trip to Pulaski, Tenn. with a 5-2 triumph over Blue Mountain (Miss.) in a neutral-sight match on Thursday.
After a loss at No. 3, the Eagles secured the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and 2 spots.
Tanit Cevada and
Sofia Rueda easily earned a 6-1 win at No. 2 before
Agustina Olivero and
Mara Guillen clinched the point with a 6-4 win at No. 1.
Olivero and Cevada then won in straight sets at single spots Nos. 1 and 3, Olivero beating Juliana Madrid 6-2, 6-2, Cevada topping Valeria Torres 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3.

winning a three-set thriller at No. 5 singles, Rueda won another Thursday. After a 7-6 opening-set loss to Lucia Rodriguez, she rebounded with a 6-4 win in set two before prevailing 11-9 in the third.
Angelia Herrera also captured a straight-set win at No. 6 singles, beating Kiersten Terris 6-3, 6-1.
Thursday's match was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was postponed by weather. Midway also had two other matches this week called off.
The Eagles will play St. Thomas (Fla.) at a neutral-site match in Williamsburg, Ky. next Tuesday before opening River Sates Conference play at Indiana Southeast on Friday, March 14.
