MIDWAY, Ky. - The effects of a winter storm last weekend are still being felt locally, and have forced further changes to the Midway University Athletics Schedule.

Two home events over the next two days have been postponed, starting with a Wednesday men's volleyball matchup against Kentucky State. That game will now be played at 7 p.m. Monday in place of a previously scheduled game against LeMoyne-Owen (Tenn.).

Also postponed is a highly anticipated game between the Eagle women's basketball team and No. 8 Rio Grande, which has been delayed two weeks and will now be played on Thursday, Feb. 12.

A men's basketball game at Rio Grande was also moved to Feb. 12.

Elsewhere, two programs have canceled weekend road trips.

The Midway baseball team will not make its scheduled trip to Lawrenceville, Ga. for four games that were to be played on Friday and Saturday, while the men's and women's indoor track and field teams have canceled their trips to Terre Haute, Ind. for the Rose-Hulman Classic on Saturday.

All other scheduled weekend events are still on at this time. This story will be updated if and when future changes occur.
