KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced its 2026 NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports.
Midway University placed 53 student-athletes on the list across nine spring sports: baseball, men's golf, women's golf, softball, men's tennis, women's tennis, men's track & field, women's track & field, and men's volleyball.
Baseball led the way with 13 honorees, while men's track & field and women's track & field followed with eight and seven honorees, respectively.
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and attend their institution for at least one full year.
