MIDWAY, Ky. -- 21 Midway athletics programs were announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) for their 2025-26 Scholar Team List last week.
These programs were recognized for their commitment to academic excellence by achieving this distinguished national recognition.
The NAIA Scholar Team designation honored the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes who prioritize success in the classroom and their sport. This recognition reflected the university's mission to establish a strong foundation for the complete success of all student-athletes through family, education, and athletics.
The women's tennis team led all Midway athletic programs with a 3.74 GPA, followed by men's tennis at 3.64. Women's golf (3.61), women's basketball (3.57) and baseball (3.56) rounded out the top-5 Eagles teams. The rest of the teams include men's and women's volleyball, men's bowling, men's and women's soccer, men's golf, competitive cheer, softball men's and women's indoor/outdoor track & field, men's and women's swimming & diving, and men's and women's cross country.
