PLYMOUTH, Mich. - A year after becoming Midway's first hunt seat's national champion in over two decades,
Reese Dorsey will have a chance to duplicate that success in 2026.
Dorsey earned another bid to Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Nationals with a first-place finish in intermediate flat at IHSA Zones Saturday.
Dorsey, who also finished third in intermediate over fences Saturday,
was a national champion in limit over flat last season. She was the Eagles' first champion since 2004.
IHSA Nationals will be held in Mill Spring, N.C. on May 1-3.
Three other Midway riders also took part in Zones Saturday.
Finley Scheffel finished third in intermediate flat and fifth in intermediate over fences,
Mary Helen Hickey was fourth in limit over fences and
Ann Graves was sixth in introductory.
