CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville scored six first-half goals en route to an 8-0 victory over Midway on Saturday afternoon at Finley Stadium. The loss dropped the Eagles to 2-4, while the Tigers improved to 6-1-2.
The Tigers scored three times in the opening 10 minutes before taking a 6-0 advantage into halftime. Campbellsville added two goals in the second half to close out the contest.
Lillian Klee played all 90 minutes in goal for Midway and recorded eight saves. The Eagles were held without a shot, while Campbellsville finished with 32 attempts, including 16 on goal.
Midway will be off until Oct. 1 when it travels to Kentucky Christian for its River States Conference opener.
