With over 25 years of coaching experience, Ryan Sparks brings a deep passion for player development and program management to his role as Director of Operations for Midway University Men's Soccer. A Cincinnati native, Ryan has dedicated his career to mentoring young athletes, focusing on development and overall program/player growth both on and off the field.
Ryan holds numerous coaching certifications, including licenses from the United States Soccer Federation, United Soccer Coaches, and UEFA. His expertise spans youth development, futsal, and officiating, making him a well-rounded leader in the sport.
Beyond coaching, Ryan has a strong passion for social media and marketing, leveraging digital platforms to promote programs, engage with the soccer community, and showcase the development of athletes. His innovative approach helps grow awareness and support for the teams and organizations he works with.
An avid supporter of FC Cincinnati, Ryan rarely goes a day without sporting orange and blue. He follows sports teams locally and on the West Coast, often staying up late to catch the latest games.
Outside of soccer, Ryan is a dedicated husband and father of three, all of whom are active in competitive sports, including collegiate esports, soccer, and basketball. His commitment to fostering a positive, development-driven environment makes him a key asset to Midway University Men's Soccer.
