MIDWAY, Ky. - As she has every year throughout her career with the Midway women's volleyball program,
Aubry Koester closed out her senior season on the River States Conference's All-First Team, the league announced Tuesday morning.
Koester's fourth-consecutive first-team selection wasn't a surprise, as she averaged a conference-best 4.0 kills per-set in 2024, the 15th-best mark in the NAIA.
She leads Midway and is third in the conference with 416 kills while her 337 digs were the second most on the team.
Koester heads into the opening round of the River States Tournament Tuesday with 1,332 kills and 723 digs in her storied career.
Freshman
Blair Riney also earned an all-conference spot, landing on the All-RSC Third Team.
Serving as the Eagles' libero most of the season, Riney had a team-best 372 digs with a .935 receiving percentage.
Midway,
which landed the No. 8 seed in the River States Conference Tournament, begins postseason play against top-seeded Indiana Kokomo at 7 p.m. tonight.
