BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - A record-breaking year now includes a record-breaking finish at the conference tournament for the Midway competitive cheerleading squad.

The Eagles took third at the Mid-South Conference Championships on Saturday, the program's highest-ever finish at the tournament.

Midway finished with 81.49 points points, trailing only the 93.66 of Cumberlands and 92.04 of Georgetown. The Eagles also had a pair of all-conference cheerleaders, with both Marisa Folino and Shaunessy Beavan earning the designation.

Saturday was Midway's best showing at the RSC Championships by far, as the Eagles easily eclipsed their sixth-place score of 79.44 from last season.

It also marked a great continuation of the program's best season, as Midway set all-time scoring records in each of its last two matches.
