MIDWAY, Ky. - Midway couldn't muster much offense as in-state foe Pikeville secured a 3-0 win over the Eagles in a non-conference men's soccer matchup Wednesday night.

The Bears took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Oliver Fausel in the 33rd minute then put things away in a rapid-fire stretch in the second half.

In the span of 19 seconds, Bruno Arenal scored two goals, both of which were assisted by Sam Allison, and Midway had no answer, falling to 2-6-1 on the season.

The Eagles will attempt to earn their first River States Conference win of the season Saturday when they travel to face Oakland City at 3:30 p.m.
