DANVILLE, Ky. - The Midway women's swim team earned a triangle meet split at Centre College on Tuesday, securing a win over a Mid-South Conference opponent in the process.
The Eagles defeated Campbellsville 106-97 while also dropping a 150-53 final to the host Colonels.
Fresh off of earning a pair of wins
in her collegiate debut Saturday, freshman
Sydney Eastman earned another in the 100-yard butterfly Tuesday, finishing in 1:00.80. She came in less than half a second ahead of teammate
Josie Briner, who was runner-up in 1:01.29.
Briner also finished second in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:18.02, with Eastman taking third in 2:19.77.

Kaelynn Martin had a pair of top-three individual finishes as well, taking second in 100 backstroke in 1:02.54 and third in the 50 freestyle in 26.32 seconds.
Martin, Eastman, Briner and
Jailey Thacker were third in the 200 medley relay (1:56.08), while
Pamela Ramires was third in the 500 free (5:43.35).
The Eagles continue their busy start to the season on Saturday, when they travel to Indiana Wesleyan for a 1 p.m. dual.
