WILMORE, Ky. - The Midway women's soccer team was shutout for the fourth-consecutive game in a 4-0, non-conference defeat at Asbury Wednesday night.
Midway held their Eagle counterparts at bay for awhile, keeping the deficit at 1-0 well into the second half, before Asbury's offense found a rhythm, thanks largely to Hannah Muncy who scored the game's first three goals.
Now 4-8-1, the Eagles, who are 2-5 in the RSC, will close the regular season with three-straight, River States Conference home games.
That stretch starts with a 12 p.m. matchup on Saturday against an Indiana Columbus team that is currently 0-6 in conference play.
