MIDWAY, Ky. - The Midway hunt seat team had a productive home outing on Saturday, getting two wins and two regional qualifications at the Midway University Shows, the team's final event of 2025.

Regional qualifiers were Reese Dorsey in intermediate fences and Josephine Rodriguez Thomas in limit flat. Dorsey finished second in her event, with Rodriguez placing third.

The Eagles got a split victory in pre-novice competition, with Josie Hughes and Emily Sue Watts tying for first.

Other runners-up on Saturday were Finley Scheffel in intermediate flat, Mary Helen Hickey in intermediate fences and Kylie Gray Hayden in novice.

Midway is now off for two months before hosting another show, this one on Feb. 14-15.
