Milner earns All-American honors at NAIA Marathon

DALLAS, Texas - Carson Milner concluded an excellent fall semester with his first ever All-American finish.

Milner took eighth place at the NAIA Marathon Championships on Sunday, capturing the final All-American position with a final time of 2 hours, 31 minutes, 27 seconds.

The junior from Walton, Ky. reached the podium less than a month after making his first appearance at the NAIA Cross Country Championships. He was also a First-Team All-Conference runner after finishing fourth at the River States Conference Championships.

He also gave the Eagle men's program an All-American marathon finisher for the third year in a row, following in the footsteps of Jacob Kocis, who took runner-up at the race in both 2023 and 2024.

Milner was joined by teammates Connor Byrd, who finished 23rd in 2:41.32, and Lance Logan, who was 26th in 2:45:09.

The Eagles finished fifth overall in the eight-team field with 37 points. River States rival Indiana East took first with six, well ahead of runner-up Campbellsville, who had 23.

On the women's side, Ariah Egleston placed 15th with a final time of 3:16:43
