BOWLING GREEN Ky. - Midway men's bowling was knocked out of the team round of the Mid-South Conference Championships on Friday, losing a best-of-seven elimination matchup to Lindsey Wilson 4-2.

The No. 6 seed Eagles came out on fire in the opening game, defeating the seventh-seeded Blue Raiders 239-180. But LWC responded by winning the next three, including a tight 182-177 victory in game four to take a 3-1 lead.

Midway briefly kept its season alive with a 225-159 win in the fifth game, before it was concluded with a 188-172 defeat in the sixth.
