MARIETTA, Ga. - The Midway men's volleyball team put up a valiant effort on the road but ultimately fell to Life University in four sets, 25-16, 25-15, 21-25, 25-21 Monday night.
After struggling in the first two sets, Midway found its rhythm in the third, fueled by a standout performance from Jai'Den Chinnis, who led the team with 10 kills, four blocks, and three service aces.
Jordan Daily was instrumental in setting up the offense, recording 13 assists, while Lincoln Anderson anchored the defense with a team-high 12 digs.
The Eagles showed resilience in the fourth set, pushing Life to the brink before ultimately dropping the frame.
Despite the loss, Midway had bright spots, including strong net defense with eight blocks and aggressive serving with six aces. However, 19 attack errors and 13 service errors proved costly.
Midway, which is 1-7 will look to regroup and snap its losing streak in it next contest Tuesday against Truett McConnell.
