GRAYSON, Ky. - Midway women's volleyball didn't lead until the third set and fell to 0-4 in River States Conference play with a 25-12, 25-15, 25-19 loss to Kentucky Christian Friday night.
The Eagles had a negative-.250 hitting percentage in the first set before the Knights hit .444 in the second.
Midway did hold a pair of early leads in set three and cut into a KCU lead with a 4-0 run to get within 21-17, before three Eagle errors in a four-play sequence sealed their fate.Â
Alyssa Medeiros had a team-high six kills and four digs for Midway, which is 1-10 overall.
The Eagles are back home for a 3 p.m. conference match against Shawnee State Saturday.
