OWENSBORO, Ky. - Midway came out flat and wasn't able to mount a comeback in a 25-10, 25-19, 25-21 men's volleyball loss to River States Conference opponent Brescia Friday.
The Eagles were out-hit .519 to negative .077 in the opening set. They were more competitive in the other two, but the Bearcats hit an impressive .422 for the match to win in three.
JT Kimball had a team-best 10 kills and two blocks for Midway.
Jordan Daily added 12 assists and
Lincoln Anderson 12 digs in defeat.
The Eagles fall to 2-18 overall and 0-8 in the RSC. They stay on the road for another conference match against Saint Mary of the Woods (Ind.) at 2 p.m. Saturday.
