Men's Volleyball drops straight set decision to No. 4 Campbellsville

MIDWAY, Ky. -- After having over a week off from competition, the Midway men's volleyball team returned to action on Friday night when they welcomed Campbellsville (Ky.) to Marshall Gymnasium in a River States Conference tilt.

The Tigers (17-0, 5-0 RSC), who are currently ranked No. 4 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll, posted a .352 hitting percentage and held Midway to a -.025 hitting mark en route to the 3-0 sweep (25-16, 25-8, 25-19).

JT Kimball led the offensive effort with six kills, while Jaden Alston added five kills. Braden Cacek and Lars Ketelaars chipped in three kills each, while Jordan Daily and Noah Fichter dished out seven and six assists, respectively. Lincoln Anderson led the defensive effort with seven digs in the loss.

Midway, who falls to 2-13 overall and 0-4 in RSC play, is set to return to action on Saturday when they host Georgetown (Ky.) at 12 p.m. ET inside Marshall Gymnasium.
