MIDWAY, Ky.– Midway University and Head Coach Jay Walls have announced the 2026 Midway men's and women's cross country schedule on Aug. 12.

The Eagles will compete in six regular-season meets before turning their attention to the River States Conference Championships in November.

Midway opens the 2026 campaign on Sept. 4 when the Eagles travel to Marion, Indiana, to compete in the IWU Twilight Invitational, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University.

The Eagles will make their lone home appearance two weeks later when they host the Midway Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 18 at Falling Springs Park in Versailles, Kentucky. Both Midway teams placed third at their home meet during the 2025 season, with Carson Milner winning the men's race and Stevie McSorley placing third in the women's event.

Midway's final regular-season tune-up will come on Oct. 23 when the Eagles travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, for the NAIA Appalachian Challenge.

The championship portion of the schedule begins on Nov. 7 with the River States Conference Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Indiana. Qualifying runners will then advance to the NAIA Cross Country National Championships on Nov. 20 in Vancouver, Washington.
