MIDWAY, Ky. - Midway Women's Soccer looks to improve in 2026 as the Eagles enter the Bryce Brockman era when they host Berea on Wednesday night at Midway Turf Field.
This will be the 23rd matchup between the Midway and Berea women's soccer programs. Midway has had significant success against Berea, holding an 18-3-1 all-time record. Last season's matchup finished in a 2-2 draw. Both of the Eagles' goals came from Sloane Pollock, including the equalizer in the 85th minute.
The Eagles return several key players from last season. Pollock made a name for herself early in her freshman campaign, scoring two goals in each of her first two matches. She returns for her sophomore season in 2026 looking to build on that success.
Lilly Riordan also returns for the Eagles in 2026. The only goalkeeper to see time between the pipes last season, Riordan looks to help lead the Eagles back to the postseason. She posted a 5-10-1 record in 2025 while recording 104 saves.
The Eagles will be under new leadership this season after Bryce Brockman was named head coach in March. A 2022 Midway graduate, Brockman spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach with the Midway men's soccer program. During his time on the men's staff, he helped guide the Eagles to three consecutive River States Conference Tournament appearances.
