DAYTON, Ohio - A fifth-place individual showing by Caleb Marshall and a third-place Baker finish were the highlights for Midway at the men's portion of the Orange and Black Bowling Tournament, held in Dayton, Ohio over the weekend.
The Eagles had a Baker score of 1,890 and finished seventh overall at the two-day tournament with a total score of 6,519.
Marshall was very consistent in individual play, topping 200 pins in four of five games to finish with a score of 1,052 and a per-game average of 210.4. His top performance was the 233 he rolled in both games three and five.
Competing on the junior varsity side, Maddox Worthington joined Marshall on the all-tournament team, finishing 15th with 1,001 pins (200.2 average). Worthington finished second among all JV bowlers.
The Eagles are back at it next weekend when they travel to Smyrna, Tenn. for a pair of Mid-South Tournaments. The Music City Open will be held on Saturday, with the Brandon Burns Memorial Tournament coming the next day.
