RIO GRANDE, Ohio - The Midway women's cross country team ended its 2025 season with a sixth-place finish at the River States Conference Championships on Saturday morning.
The Eagles finished with 169 points, just two back of the 167 of fifth-place Saint Mary of the Woods.
Behind medalist Amarissa Kerns, Rio Grande came in first with 41 points, while runner-up Olivia Cisco led Shawnee State to a second-place score of 47.
Stevie McSorley was Midway's top runner with a 25th-place time of 24:54.72. McSorley was the Eagles' top runner at all seven of their races this season.
Ariah Egleston came in 36th in 26:00.33, while
Riley Gillis and
Macy Adams came in 49th and 50th in times of 26:39.24 and 26:53.16 respectively.
Abby Baldridge rounded out the scoring in 56th place with a time of 27:53.70.
