ELKHART, Ind. - Josie Briner is headed back to the NAIA National Championships.
The Midway sophomore was invited to the Women's Swimming and Diving Championships for the second year in a row on Friday, where she'll compete in the 100 and 200 butterfly and the 200 freestyle.
Briner made Midway history at nationals a season ago,
becoming the first Eagle to qualify for the finals, where she finished 13th in the 200 fly.
The Manchester, Ind. native will get to compete in her home state, with the national championships slated to be held in Elkhart, Ind. on March 5-8.
