CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Three members of the Midway women's track and field team took part in the Lee Last Chance meet Saturday as a final tune-up before competing in the NAIA Outdoor Championships at the end of the month.
This was the final meet of the regular season.
The top finisher of the trio was
Maddi Reed, who placed second in the pole vault with a top height of 3.41 meters.
Also earning a top-five finish for Midway was
Trinity Gottler, who came in fifth with a throw of 33.17 meters in javelin.
Emerson VanScoy competed as well, but no-heighted in high jump.
Reed, Gottler and VanScoty all qualified for the outdoor championships, which will be held at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. on May 21-23.
