MIDWAY, Ky. - New head coach Stu Riddle will open his tenure with the Midway men's soccer program on the road at the end of August.

After playing in a pair of in-state scrimmages -- one at Thomas More on Aug. 23, another at home against Union Aug. 27 -- the Eagles will begin the regular season with consecutive road games.The first will be against Defiance College (Ohio) on Aug. 30 with the second at nearby Georgetown Sept. 2.

Midway's first home game will be at 1 p.m. against Cleary (Mich.) on Sept. 1. That will be the first of nine matches on the Midway Turf Field, including the River States Conference opener against St. Mary of the Woods (Ind.) Sept. 25 and the regular season finale against Indiana East Nov. 1.
