ADDISON, Ill. - Midway bowling returned to Addison, Ill. for the second-consecutive weekend, this time competing in the Kegel ISBPA Collegiate Classic.

The Eagle men placed 19th in a 68-team field, while the women were 42nd out of 55.

MEN'S RESULTS

Midway had a 4,987 in team play while recording a baker score of 3,076 for a final tally of 8,063.

The top individual performer was Vincent Biehn, who rolled a 1,087 to tie for 31st with a 217.4 per-game average.

Biehn topped 200 pins in four of five games, highlighted by a performance of 245 in game four.

Also landing in the top-50 was Charlie Smith, who came in 46th with a 1,086 and a 213.6 average. Smith had three 200-plus games, including a 239 in the opening round.

Johnathan Hatcher also exceeded 1,000 pins, knocking down 1,004 (200.8 average) to finish 101st.

Midway got 200 pins or better five times in baker competition, coming out red hot with a 227, 233 and 231 in the first three.

WOMEN'S RESULTS

Midway rolled a 4,102 in team play and 2,661 in baker for a total score of 6,763.

Maggie Coleman and Kaitlyn McNutt led the way finishing four pins apart in 38th and 39th. Coleman rolled a 976, McNutt a 972.

Coleman had three 200-pin games, led by a 212 in game four. McNutt, who topped 200 twice, was also at her best in game four, rolling a 206.

Game four was the standout in baker as well, with Midway finishing that round with a 201.

The Eagles will be in Jeffersontown, Ky. for a pair of Mid-South tournaments next weekend. They play in the Lynn Jordan Memorial on Saturday and the Thomas N. Burris Memorial Sunday.
