PRESTONSBURG, Ky. -- Kasey Cameron finished fourth overall as the Midway men's and women's golf teams wrapped up play at the Orange and Black Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday.

Cameron led the way for the Eagles, finishing the tournament at 15-over par. She opened the tournament with a 3-over round before shooting 6-over in each of the final two rounds.

The strong performance helped the Midway women finish fifth out of eight teams.

Savannah Salchli and Anna Simpson both finished tied for eighth in the individual standings.

Salchli finished the tournament at 18-over par after shooting 8-over in each of the first two rounds. She saved her best performance for the final round, carding a 2-over score.

Simpson also finished strong. After opening with a 14-over round, she improved by 10 strokes with a 4-over second round. Simpson continued the improvement in the final round, firing an even-par round to move into a tie for eighth.

Kyrie Dickenson finished tied for 28th at 49-over par. She posted rounds of 16-over, 18-over and 15-over. Ella Anderson rounded out the Midway lineup in 30th at 51-over, shooting rounds of 18-over, 17-over and 16-over.

On the men's side, Midway finished 10th out of 13 teams.

Kobe Ingram led the way for the Eagles with a consistent three rounds. Ingram shot 1-over in all three rounds to finish the tournament at 3-over par.

Caden Less finished tied for 42nd at 13-over par. Less opened with a 5-over round before improving to 3-over in round two and closing with another 5-over round.

Caleb Moody finished tied for 48th at 17-over, carding rounds of 5-over, 6-over and 6-over. Ben Logsdon followed in a tie for 51st at 18-over after rounds of 7-over, 8-over and 3-over.

Tommy Rempe rounded out the Midway lineup, finishing 66th at 31-over par. He recorded rounds of 13-over, 7-over and 11-over.

Both Midway teams will return to action at the RSC Fall Preview on Sept. 28 and 29.
