MARION, Ind. - Midway's Men's and Women's teams fell behind early, both finishing ninth at the Wildcat Fall Invitational at Birck Boilermaker Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday.

The Eagles' best player on the No. 24 Women's team was Kasey Cameron. Cameron shot a 226 (+10) that placed her t-11th in the tournament. Her third round consisted of a 35 (-1) in the front nine, and she finished her tournament with a 75 (+3).

Eli Stamper's Eagle on hole six in the third round was enough to pull him into the top-25. He finished the third round with a 72 (+1), and he ended the tournament scoring a 224 (+11).

Tristan Mitchell shot a 220 (+7) for the Men's team. That placed Mitchell t-14th in the tournament. His first and third rounds were his best where he finished two-over par in both of them.

The host Indiana Wesleyan won the tournament on the men's side. They finished with a 10-over par. They shot a five-under in the third round. On the Women's side, SCAD Savannah took first place. They ended 42-over par.

Anna Simpson was the next best performer for the Midway women. Simpson ended the tournament with a score of 242 (+26). She placed in the top-40.

The men's best round came in the final one. They shot a 14-over par, but it was too little too late.

Both teams' next tournament is on Monday, Sept. 14, where they play in the Pretty Lake Invitational at Pretty Lake Golf Course in Plymouth, Ind.
