MIDWAY, Ky. -- Midway University baseball coach, Luther Bramblett, has announced that this weekend's River States Conference series with Asbury (Ky.) has been shifted to Chandler Field in Versailles, Kentucky.
The series was scheduled to take place at Cecil Zweifel Field in Wilmore, but due to Asbury's field being unplayable, the series will take place at Chandler Field.
The two teams will play a single nine-inning game on Friday with first pitch set at 3 p.m. ET. Then on Saturday, Midway and Asbury will conclude their series with a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. ET.
This weekend marks the beginning of conference play for all 10 teams in the RSC.
Asbury enters the weekend with a 6-4 record overall. They were last in action on February 27 when they dropped a 15-5 decision against Cumberlands (Ky.).
Midway comes into the weekend with a 4-10 record overall. They had won their last three until Tuesday, February 27, when they lost a 7-6 decision to Union (Ky.).
First pitch is set for 3 p.m. ET at Chandler Field. Live stats and live video will be provided for the game.
