eSports roundup: Rocket League and Overwatch win playoff openers

MIDWAY, Ky. - Midway's Rocket League and Overwatch teams extended their seasons with excellent showings in the opening round of the eSports postseason.

OVERWATCH

Savanna Neace had 69 kills with Hunter Yeager and Trevor Alexander each adding 67 in a 3-0 win over Middle Tennessee State on Nov. 17.

Madison Ward had 76 assists while Lonnie Loveless III had a team-best 37,441 healing in the win

Overwatch's next match will be on Nov. 30

ROCKET LEAGUE

Fresh off an undefeated regular season, Rocket League continued its winning ways with a 3-0 victory over American Public.

Trevor Howard led the attack with four goals. Alex Oditt had five saves with Nicholas Newman adding two goals and two saves.
