MADISONVILLE, Ky. - Midway's team of Carrie Booth, Kelli Booth and Jessica Badgett earned a silver medal finish in the fixed pin college women's division in the team round of the Mid-South Conference Archery Indoor Championships on Saturday.

After recording a score of 1,725 in the quality ranking round, the trio easily advanced through the semifinals, earning a 234-224 win over the team from Pikeville.

In the finals, the Booths and Badgett outscored Lindsey Wilson's Audrey Mills, MaKenna Langley and Madeline McGuire in each of the final two rounds, but a difficult second round in which the Blue Raider trio held a 56-49 edge was too much to over come, as the Eagles had to settle for second with a 227-221 loss.

The runner-up showing was a big step up for an Eagle program that had just four people compete at the same tournament a season ago.

The three-day Mid-South Indoor Championships will conclude Sunday with the completion of the individual rounds.
