Esports roundup: Rocket League and Rainbow 6 both earn wins

MIDWAY, Ky. - Midway's Rocket League and Rainbow 6 teams both earned wins in the second week of Esports action last week.

On Oct. 1, Rocket League defeated Elon Gold 2-0, winning their respective matches by scores of 7-2 and 7-1.

Rainbow 6 earned a forfeit win against Tarleton State in NECC play Wednesday then defeated Norwich College by forfeit in Collegiate Rainbow 6 action Friday.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

Owen Capria went 1-2 in one-on-one Street Fighter 6 competition last week. Now 6-3 on the season, Capria is ranked 19th in the nation in the game.

Elsewhere, Cody Griffith and Riley Ogden both competed in Guilty Gear, with Griffith going 2-2 and Ogden going 1-2.
