MIDWAY, Ky. - Midway's Rainbow 6, Warzone and Rocket League teams all took part in the postseason last week with varying levels of success.
RAINBOW 6: COLLEGE OF THE HOLY CROSS 2, MIDWAY 1
In the NECC playoffs, the seventh-seeded Eagles rebounded from a 7-5 loss in map 1 with a 7-5 win in map 2, forcing second-seeded Holy Cross to the brink in the best-of-three matchup.
But the Eagles struggled in the final map, losing 7-1 to be eliminated from from playoff competition.
WARZONE: EIGHTH PLACE
The Eagles took part in three games in the CCL/College Call of Duty playoffs, and were the first team to win a game in the round-robin event.
The best showing came in game two, where the Eagles finished sixth. They also placed 11th in game one and 13th in game three.
ROCKET LEAGUE: FANSHAWE FUEL 4, MIDWAY 1
The best-of-seven series could have gone much differently, as the Eagles took each of the first two games to overtime, but lost both by the final of 3-2.
Down 3-0, Midway rallied to win game four before losing 3-0 in game five to be eliminated from the NECC tournament.
