MIDWAY, Ky. - Three of Midway's Esports teams earned victories this week, with League of Legends escaping in its tightest regular season matchup of the season.
LOL was pushed to the brink in its best-of-three match against Murray State Gold on Tuesday, but the Eagles ultimately prevailed 2-1. It was the first time Midway has dropped so much as a game in a regular season match.
Rocket League and Overwatch both went 1-1 during the week.
On Thursday, Rocket League defeated Charleston Southern Gold 3-0 before losing 3-1 against Transy. On Friday, Overwatch bounced back from a 3-0 loss to Morningside with a 3-0 win over Union.
Call of Duty suffered a pair of 3-0 losses Monday, falling to Cincinnati and Ohio State.
Midway's four teams now have an accumulative record of 42-20. Call of Duty will open next week's action with matches against Northwood and the University of Indiana.
