MIDWAY, Ky. -- Midway University has announced the hiring of alum Bryce Brockman as the new head coach of the women's soccer program.
Brockman, a 2022 graduate of Midway University, takes over the women's program after serving as an assistant coach for the men's program for the last three seasons.
"We are excited to welcome Bryce as the leader of our women's soccer program," said Dr.
Heath Morgan, Vice President of Athletics and Student Affairs. "His familiarity with Midway, commitment to student-athlete development, and passion for the game make him a great fit to continue building our program."
During his time with the men's soccer program, Brockman helped contribute to a period of significant success, including three consecutive playoff appearances (2023–2025), the program's first conference tournament advancement since 2017, and a record number of All-Conference selections in 2025.
In addition to his collegiate experience, Brockman has been actively involved in coaching at multiple levels. He currently serves as an assistant coach at Bourbon County High School, where he has helped guide the program to back-to-back 2A Section 5 championships and its first regional appearance since 2018.
Brockman has also worked as a technical coach with Skillability Soccer Training and held roles with Georgetown FC and the Louisville City FC Academy, gaining valuable experience in player development, operations, and youth training.
"I'm honored to represent my alma mater as head coach," said Brockman. "Midway has had a profound impact on my life, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to give back. I look forward to building something special and creating lasting memories and achievements with this women's soccer program."
Brockman added, "I want to thank Dr. Morgan and the administration for their trust and support."
