MIDWAY, Ky. - For the second week in a row, Midway's Kasey Cameron has been named River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.

Cameron, who has now won the award five times in her two seasons as an Eagle, earned this one after a second-place finish at the Northeast Tennessee Spring Shootout last Tuesday, where she shot a 13-over par 157 over two rounds.

This came on the heels of a medalist showing at the Midway Eagle Invitational on March 31, which secured her first Player of the Week award of 2025-26.

Cameron could be in good position to earn another next week, as she currently sits in first place after the opening round of the Kentucky Christian Spring Invitational. Her first-round 77 (+5) has her seven strokes ahead of the rest of the field.

Round two of the KCU Invitational will be played on Tuesday and will be the final tune-up before the River States Conference Championships on May 3-5, a tournament Midway won a season ago.
