MIDWAY, Ky. - Following a medalist performance at the Midway Eagle Invitational last week, Kasey Cameron was named River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Cameron entered the final round trailing by five strokes, but rallied by shooting a 77, the best round of any individual player in the tournament.

She finished with a final score of 160 (+16), winning by two strokes and helping Midway win the tournament as a team by 14 over Huntington (Ind.).

This is the first Golfer of the Week award this season for Cameron, who won it three times a season ago. The Richmond, Ky. native's previous wins came on Sept. 30, 2024, March 17, 2025 and March 31, 2025.

The Eagles will be back in action Tuesday when they travel to Johnson City for the Northeast Tennessee Spring Shootout, hosted by Milligan University.
