DANVILLE, Ky. - Midway's men's track and field team placed in six events at the Centre Twilight on Friday, an event that did not record team scores.

The Eagles had third-place finishes in four events, two of them coming from Brayden Carson. Carson jumped 6.43 meters in long jump and 1.90 in high jump.

Elsewhere on the field side. Cole Sexton was third in discus, topping out at 43.87. In the 4x800 relay, Carson Milner, Josiah Kocis, Noah Hampton and Adam Higgs were third with a time of 8:30.16.

Others to place in the top-eight were Sexton in the hammer throw (fifth, 50.11) and Harry Van Why IV in high jump (eighth, 1.85).

Midway will conclude the regular season next Friday and Saturday at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Open, hosted by the University of Louisville.
