MIDWAY, Ky. — With a rich history dating back to 1847 – and 10 consecutive years of record enrollment growth – Midway University has announced the establishment of the Midway University Athletic Hall of Fame.

The new initiative is designed to recognize and honor former athletes, coaches, teams, and supporters who have made significant contributions to the university's athletic tradition and have continued to reflect positively on the institution.

"The Athletic Hall of Fame will serve as a lasting tribute to individuals and teams whose achievements have helped shape the history and success of Midway athletics," said Dr. John Marsden, president of Midway University.

Through this new program, the University seeks to celebrate athletic excellence, preserve the rich traditions of its sports programs, and strengthen connections with alumni and supporters.

"The Athletic Hall of Fame is an opportunity to recognize the men and women whose accomplishments have brought pride and distinction to Midway University," said Dr. Heath Morgan, Vice President of Athletics and Student Affairs. "Their achievements, leadership, and commitment embody the values of our institution and continue to inspire current and future Eagles."

The inaugural luncheon will take place on Saturday, October 17, as part of the school's Homecoming weekend.
