WALESKA, Ga. - Midway Men's Golf opens the 2026 season at the Eagle's Open in Waleska, Georgia, at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course. The Eagles' lineup for the season-opening tournament features Eli Stamper, Tristan Mitchell, Kobe Ingram, Gabe Cole and Caden Less, while Caleb Moody will compete as an individual.

Monday's tournament will provide the Eagles with an early opportunity to see how they stack up against strong competition and set the tone for the season ahead.

"We get started at a great tournament with several top-ranked teams," said head coach Otis Smith. "This will be a great barometer of the season to come."

Coming off another successful campaign last year, Smith and the Eagles enter the new season looking to build upon that success. Midway will bring a combination of veteran experience and emerging talent to Lake Arrowhead.

Mitchell, Ingram and Less provide plenty of experience for the Eagles after each played an integral role in Midway's success last season, including its run at the conference tournament. Joining the veterans are Stamper and Cole, who will look to make an impact as Midway begins its new campaign.

The Eagles also enter the tournament with some familiarity and unfinished business at Lake Arrowhead. Midway finished third in the eight-team field at last season's Eagle's Open. Host Reinhardt captured the tournament title, while SCAD Atlanta finished second, 11 strokes ahead of the Eagles.

Mitchell and Cole led the way for Midway at last year's event, giving the Eagles two returning players who have already found success on the course as they prepare to open the 2026 season.
