OXFORD, Oh. - Midway women's volleyball has been voted tied for ninth in the 2026 River States Conference Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon following a vote of the head coaches in the league. 

IU Kokomo are the preseason favorite. The Cougars received 80 points, eight of thost being first place votes. Saint Mary of the Woods received one first place vote (69 points) and Rio Grande also finished with one first place vote (68 points).

The Eagles season will begin on August 21 when they head to the Onset Invitational and they will face Huntington University and the University of Saint Francis (Ind.). Their home opener will be on Aug 25 when they welcome Georgetown to the Marshall Gymnasium.
