MIDWAY, Ky. -- Midway University baseball coach, Luther Bramblett, announced on Thursday a minor change to this weekend's River States Conference series against Indiana University Kokomo.
The Eagles and the Cougars were scheduled to meet in a single game on Friday, but that game has been pushed up to a 1 p.m. ET start at Chandler Field.
Tomorrow's game could also turn into a doubleheader depending on a weather system that is scheduled to move through the area on Friday night. A final decision on the weekend schedule will be made on Friday morning.
The Eagles are entering the series winners of their last four games, including a clean three-game sweep of Asbury (Ky.) last weekend to open conference play. Bramblett's team is now 8-10 overall and 3-0 in RSC play.
IU Kokomo, on the other hand, are in a situation the Eagles were in last year. The Cougars are in their first year of baseball and are currently 7-10 overall and 0-3 in league play. IU Kokomo was swept by Point Park (Pa.) last weekend in Kokomo, Indiana to open conference play.
Bramblett also announced on Thursday that his team will host Campbellsville (Ky.) on Monday, March 12, in a single nine inning game at 3 p.m. ET at Chandler Field.
Live stats and live video will be available for all of the upcoming home games.
